Call Your Mother, Inc. (“Call Your Mother,” “we,” “us,” and “our”)  ****is a space for you to open up and share your feelings about the climate crisis - anger, fear, grief, urgency, hope, motivation - and connect with others who feel the same. Force of Nature (FoN) encourages people to voice their opinions and ideas about the environment and its future by participating in FoN-organised public engagement campaigns.

To the participant of the "Call Your Mother" project:

In consideration of our arranging to film and record my interview, contribution and/or performance (together the "Contribution") on today's date and any other dates to be mutually agreed on, you agree to the filming and the recording of the contribution through the Service "Vurvey". This is a public engagement project, where individuals will be asked questions about their thoughts, feelings and actionsabout the climate crisis and the United Nations Climate Change Conference UK 2021. When participating, individuals waive any rights and/or claims to the information submitted by them or any information that they might be exposed to during this engagement. All information shared, created or discussed will be owned by Force of Nature and used for inspiration and research purposes, as well as potentially re-distributed for further public engagement or art legacy projects. Participants are free to withdraw their involvement in the platform at any time, and can decline to submit any responses or answer any questions. Their responses will not be used for the achievement of any political goals or campaigns.

All information gained in this project is considered confidential. None of the information, products, images or discussions that are experienced during this project should be redistributed.

It is understood that this material will be used in a legitimate manner, both internally and outside Force of Nature and is not intended to cause any harm or undue embarrassment to the parties involved.

Scope

This Privacy Policy covers the personal information we collect about you when you use our products or services, or otherwise interact with us, including on our website at https://www.callyourmother.earth/, mobile applications (“Apps”), and our related online and offline offerings (collectively, the “Services”). This policy also explains your choices surrounding how we use your personal information, which include how you can object to certain uses of the information and how you can access and update certain information.

A. Information You Provide to Us

Account Creation: When you create an account on Vurvey or otherwise use the Services, we collect information such as your name, email address, and password.

Your Communications with Us: We collect personal information from you such as email address, phone number, or mailing address when you request information about our Services, request customer or technical support, or otherwise communicate with us. We also collect the contents of messages or attachments that you may send to us, as well as other information you choose to provide, and that may be associated with your communications.

Surveys: We may contact you to participate in surveys. If you decide to participate, you may be asked to provide certain information which may include personal information.

Interactive Features: We may offer interactive features such as forums, blogs, chat and messaging services, and social media pages. We and others who use our Services may collect the information you submit or make available through these interactive features. Any content you provide via the public sections of these features will be considered “public” and is not subject to the privacy protections referenced herein. By using these interactive features, you understand that the personal information provided by you may be viewed and used by third parties for their own purposes.

Conferences, Trade Shows, and Other Events: We may attend conferences, trade shows, and other events where we collect personal information from individuals who interact with or express an interest in the Services.

Automatic Data Collection: We keep track of certain information about you when you visit and interact with any of our Services. This information may include your Internet protocol (IP) address, user settings, MAC address, cookie identifiers, mobile carrier, mobile advertising and other unique identifiers, details about your browser, operating system or device, location information (including inferred location based off of your IP address), Internet service provider, pages that you visit before, during and after using the Services, information about the links you click, information about how you interact with the Services, including the frequency and duration of your activities, and other information about how you use the Services. Cookies, Pixel Tags/Web Beacons, and Analytics Information: We, as well as third parties that provide content, advertising, or other functionality on the Services, may use cookies, pixel tags, local storage, and other technologies (“Technologies”) to automatically collect information through the Services. If your browser is set to “Do Not Track”, Call Your Mother will attempt to honor this functionality. However, our third party service providers may use their own cookies, pixel tags, web beacons or other storage technology to collect and store Log Data or information from elsewhere on the internet, and we do not have access to, nor control over, a third parties’ use of cookies or other tracking technologies.

Depending upon your location and in accordance with applicable laws, you may have the right to:

  • Access personal information about you consistent with legal requirements. In addition, you may have the right in some cases to receive or have your electronic personal information transferred to another party.
  • Request Correction of your personal information where it is inaccurate or incomplete.

The Services linked on the website through Vurvey are not directed to children under 16 (or other age as required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected a child’s personal information in violation of applicable law, we will promptly take steps to delete such information and terminate the child’s account.
